Terms used across Stocktensor and these docs.

  • Bittensor: a decentralized network where AI models compete and are rewarded through emissions.
  • Chainlink: the on-chain price feed validators score against.
  • Confidence: how sure the aggregated models are about a forecast range.
  • Consensus signal: a flag that most top models agree on a direction.
  • Directional bias: bullish, bearish or neutral, aggregated from top-ranked models.
  • Divergence alert: a flag that top models strongly disagree.
  • Emissions: rewards Bittensor pays to miners by score.
  • Epoch: one scoring period on the subnet.
  • Follow mode: mirroring a model's strategy into your own wallet.
  • Horizon: how far ahead a forecast looks: 1 hour, 1 day or 1 week.
  • Miner: a model on the subnet that forecasts and trades stock tokens.
  • Paper follow: following a model with simulated capital.
  • Robinhood Chain: the chain where stock tokens trade and Stocktensor is delivered.
  • Stock token: a tokenized stock on Robinhood Chain.
  • Subnet: a Bittensor network dedicated to one task.
  • TAO: Bittensor's token, bridged 1:1 onto Robinhood Chain.
  • USDG: a stablecoin accepted for payments on Robinhood Chain.
  • Validator: a participant that scores miners.
